AGROM has issued an invitation in The Guardian Newspaper dated 01 June 2026, inviting stakeholders to submit Expressions of Interest for joint agriculture projects in Mvomero District, Morogoro Region, Tanzania.
AGROM has formally announced its call for collaboration through a public Expression of Interest (EOI). The notice, referenced as AGROM/BSS/020010/26 and originally dated 25 May 2026, seeks competent and experienced individuals, firms, companies, institutions, agencies, joint ventures, and consortia that can work jointly with AGROM in agriculture-related projects.
Background and Institutional Position
According to the published EOI, AGROM is a registered Public Limited Company in the United Republic of Tanzania, established under the auspices of an association of farmers. The company reports an authorized share capital of TSh 50 billion, with 51.4% majority shareholding held by members. This structure reflects AGROM's orientation toward farmer participation and long-term agriculture development rooted in local ownership.
The EOI also highlights AGROM's geographic and production base in Mvomero District, one of Tanzania's productive agricultural ecosystems. The company indicates that member-linked landmarks cover more than 1,000 acres of vegetative and arable land with titles, and that AGROM collaborates with additional farmers holding collective farm lands of approximately 1,426 acres. The publication emphasizes preference for land-to-equity style engagement where applicable.
Scope for Joint Work and Collaboration
The invitation outlines broad areas where partners may collaborate with AGROM or provide technical and financial support. Proposed cooperation areas include farming operations and sale of crops, fruits, vegetables, and spices; seed processing and plant propagation; mixed farming systems; and design, development, installation, implementation, and operation of agriculture projects.
In addition, AGROM notes opportunities in agricultural capacity building for farmers and stakeholders, general supply and trade activities (including import and export), distribution of seeds and agri-inputs, agrochemicals, micronutrients, and pesticides, establishment of supermarkets handling food and produce, and value-addition businesses such as manufacturing, milling, grinding, and processing.
What Interested Stakeholders Should Submit
Parties preparing an EOI response are asked to provide clear organizational and technical details. AGROM requests general information on the applicant's background, ownership, structure, and business address, together with highlights of the proposed plan and the expected benefits to stakeholders.
Submissions should also include proof of financial capability, evidence of good performance and relevant track record, detailed experience in related work areas, and references from three recent similar projects. This information is intended to support transparent assessment of readiness, capability, and fit for joint implementation.
Submission Details and Deadline
Completed EOIs should be addressed to the Managing Director, AGROM, via info@agromvomero.co.tz, Morogoro, Tanzania. The published deadline for submission is 15 July 2026. AGROM further states that it is not bound to accept any EOI submitted, and that more details can be accessed through the company's website.
AGROM's Invitation to Partners
This publication is an open invitation to strategic partners who are ready to engage in practical, accountable, and impact-oriented agriculture collaboration. Stakeholders with technical expertise, financing capability, implementation experience, market linkages, or value-chain infrastructure are encouraged to review the EOI requirements and submit complete proposals within the stated timeline.
For organizations seeking to work jointly with AGROM, this is a timely opportunity to participate in agriculture projects designed to strengthen production, value addition, and inclusive growth in Mvomero District and beyond.
